All Raptor racers will start first. The may be multiple waves needed. The bike and run portions will be loops of the individual race course, with some minor adjustments. Please read below for more race details. ----------------- How does an indoor swim work? Athletes are seeded into waves of 3 racers based upon their 500 yard swim time. The swim is completed in a 6 lane, indoor pool. Each athlete starts approx 10 seconds apart. You swim like you drive - stay on the right and pass on the other side, if needed. Once a lane is done, then the next wave of 3 racers is walked over and started. ----------------- Start times: The first wave starts at 9am and the last one will start between 11:30am-12:30pm (depending upon if we fill). The first wave will be the Raptor racers. After all the Raptor racers have started, the rest of the waves, will begin. The first wave of non-Raptor racers is NOT the fastest wave. The fastest wave starts more toward the middle to back of the wave assignments. ----------------- Special requests: The Event Director will attempt to honor all special requests to the best of their ability. However, they must be made BEFORE the waves are seeded. For the Earlybird Triathlon, all requests should be submitted by April 12th. ----------------- Wave Assignments: Wave assignments will be posted 1 week prior to the event date. If the event fills, it may be earlier
