WEST PALM BEACH, FLA. – Former Virginia Governor Bob McDonnell (2010-2014) will talk about his conviction on federal corruption charges that was later vacated by the U.S. Supreme Court on Thursday, Dec. 8, presented by The LeMieux Center for Public Policy at Palm Beach Atlantic University. The event begins at 6 p.m. in the Lassiter Rotunda of the Warren Library, 300 Pembroke Place, West Palm Beach. The event is free and open to the public. Call (561) 803-2011 to R.S.V.P. as seating is limited.

In one of his first public appearances after his legal problems were resolved, Governor McDonnell will share how his faith sustained him and his wife, Maureen, as they faced indictment on charges of accepting improper gifts and loans from a Virginia businessman. After the Supreme Court decision in June 2016, the Justice Department later decided not to prosecute again and moved to dismiss the charges.
